 The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce the renewal and improvement of the spec tire program offered to NASA racers by Toyo Tires®. The Toyo Proxes RA1™ has long been NASA’s tire of choice for many classes and Toyo has offered generous “Toyo Bucks” programs that allow top-finishing racers to receive rebates on their future tire purchases. The regional program for 2006 improves on the 2005 program by doubling the rewards to Toyo-spec class champions in each region and by nearly doubling the rebate program for regional races with more than five starters. The 2006 program provides each class nearly $2000 for the top 3 in the season championship and $800 per weekend for the top 5 finishers in regional races. The total payout for the program totals over $1,200,000.00 if all of the eligible classes received their maximum payouts.
