Event #2136: Nov 5th - 8th, 2015

Registration is open now for the Targa Baja California on November 5-8, 2015. Deadline for registration will be total number of 65 entries. As soon as we attain that number, we will keep a calendared waiting list. 

Schedule: 

Wednesday (optional) November 4th: Meet us at the Viejas Casino Resort, 5000 Willows Road, Alpine California 91901 to check into the event. Location for the event check in will be posted at the front registration desk. Early event check in will be from 4 pm till 6:30 pm, then 8:00 pm till 10:00 pm.

Thursday 6:30 am till 7:30 am Event check in at location to be announced at front desk of the Viejas. 

7:45 am Driver meeting in the parking structure/ Designated parking area

8:00 am Event drive starts - drive back roads to Tecate USA. Regroup here and cross over into Mexico together. 

Press conference with officials, then escorted drive to Rumirosa for our hill climb tours. Post hillclimb- escorted drive to Pampas Restaurant for lunch. After lunch group drive to our host Hotel Real Inn in Mexicali for the evening. Open night

Friday 7:30 am driver meeting parking lot/ escorted drive to Rumirosa / Hill climb tour, then pass thru Tecate to lunch . Location to be announced. Lunch for two included with your entry. Saturday 9:00 am driver meeting , then escorted drive to Casa de Siete Patios, Ensenada. Lunch for two included with entry. Post lunch drive to HQ hotels in Ensenada : Posada del Rey Sol and El Cid. Open night. Posada del Sol 011 52 646 178 1601 ask for Jajaziel Estrada

Requirements:

1975 or older makes of cars. Certain continuation models accepted. Not sure? contact targacalifornia@gmail.com for eligibility. For example a reproduction Cobra is accepted since it follows the construction and theme of the original 1965 model

ONE person per car must be a NASA member 

Proof of insurance for USA and separate proof of insurance in Mexico required

Entry fee refundable up to August 30th less admin/ membership fee. After that there are no refunds. We drive rain or shine. 

Insurance: We advise a stated value insurance policy for your car. There is usually a small percentage shared in case of total loss. Hope not!

Need race or high octane gas? Importing gasoline into Mexico is illegal! We have excellent supply by Porfirio Guitierrez, official Baja support race gas from Ensenada. Please contact me to make arrangements if you require some at the event at Targacalifornia@gmail.com
