Located in Alpine, California about 30 minutes east of San Diego, this location is both fun for its amenities as well as the casino for us to play in. Event check in location will be in the lobby , by the registration desk  for the tower. Wednesday evening is open, so we are sure you will enjoy the libations at the bar in the main casino ;-) . A designated parking area will be available for us as well. 

Event Check in Wednesday 5 pm till 7 pm, then 9 pm till 10pm

Thursday October 31: Viejas to Tecate to Rumorosa to Ensenada. Viejas final event check in Tower hotel lobby.645 am till 7:45 am . Driver meeting at the cars 8 am and off we go. Group drive to the border  Planned two stops before we cross to regroup. A meeting and photo op with city and tourism dignitaries. Then on the road to La Rumorosa. Two times down, two times up with a difference. Before your second time going back up, we will have lunch at the restaurant at the bottom of the hill. This is adjacent to the Pemex station. Following lunch , we go back up the hill and follow the road to Tecate, then towards Ensenada. We will probably have a planned stop to regroup and refresh ourselves. 

Saturday November 2 : Posada El Rey Sol to El Tigre, then La Mision . South through Ensenada to Santo Tomas < possible winery tour. Regroup, then north to Estero Beach Resort. Farewell Party Saturday evening and staying at Estero Beach. Dia de Los Muertos PARTY- Costumes STRONGLY  suggested ! Sunday November 3rd. Estero Beach to Tecate USA. Some of you will be leaving early on your own, while the main group will leave no later than 8 am . We will exit through Tecate, which makes it a lot easier to negotiate and besides that we have a few more fun roads on the USA side we can enjoy heading home

This will include event jacket for one, T shirts for two, 2 large event stickers, 2 smaller event stickers, top of glass event sticker, route book ,event hat, Breakfast at the El Rey Sol, Refreshments in Valle de Trinidad, lunch in Ojos Negros,  Farewell dinner party/ Dia de Los Muertos theme for one or two, at the Estero.

Mechanical support and towing crews: We have two teams, with trucks and tow trailers,  following the group. Each year, they don't disappoint and do their very best to get repairs done on our cars that break down. They will also carry extra fuel, coolant, oil just in case.

 NOTE: For those cars with higher values than normal for an equivalent model, you should have an appraisal to document the value.

Your USA insurance will NOT cover you in Mexico. An accident in Mexico is a FELONY! So having the proper coverage makes everything as seamless as possible, in case of an accident. 

Since we are entering another country, you will also need the following:

Valid passport, or global entry card

A reliable car that can stand the rigors of 3 days at speed. 5" ground clearance is recommended, as the speed bumps at the border are tall ! The rest of the roads in Mexico are good. 

Gas at the stations, by law, is pumped in by attendants and Premium is good. You can assist or advise if necessary

Race gas available by prior reservation < details? contact me so you can pre purchase 100 octane, or higher . Our support crews will carry it for you , while following the event. 

One person per car must be a NASA member. Your membership is good for one year, so you don't need to renew for our other upcoming events. 

REFUNDS? At this late date we cannot issue a full refund or credit. IF we sell out the event and you end up not going, we will refer to our waiting list so you can receive a full credit towards a future Targa event. Valid for a full year.
