NASA NOLA Region 3 Day Weekend (June 19-21)

Come on down to the Deep South to drive your car on the NOLA Motorsports Road Course. You can also enjoy the New Orleans nightlife located just 20 minutes from the track. June 19 - Pre-NASA Open Track Day

Get 5, 20 minute sessions on the same 2.75 mile configuration that you’ll be racing during NASA Weekend. Track goes hot from 8am - 5pm.

June 20 + 21 - NASA NOLA Events & Races

Racing, HPDE, & Time Trials on Saturday and Sunday. Score points for your local NASA region profile.

CONFIGURATION: We will be running the 2.75 mile configuration with the esses and NO additional curbing.

June 20 - Afterparty (Post-NASA Karting Cup)

**Free registration through Wednesday prior to NASA Weekend ($40 per driver for registrations after Wednesday.)

Get in on 3 heats of competitive go-karting in karts that go over 40mph. Register and race to win FREE ENTRY TO A FUTURE NASA EVENT! The afterparty starts directly after the Saturday NASA races with check-ins at 6pm.

Tech Sheet and RV Hookups

Don't forget that your tech sheet is to be filled out PRIOR to going through the tech line. Any shop that is ASE certified or has an ASE certified mechanic, can complete your tech sheet. Here is a link to print out the tech sheet. Download tech sheet here.

HPDE GENERAL NOTICE-

If you do not see the HPDE Group that you want, it is full. If you would like to be added to a waitlist for your group, please email r.martin@nolamotor.com with the group in the subject line.

HPDE 1:

HPDE1 is where it all starts. If you've never been on track before or would like to be guaranteed an instructor, sign up for HPDE1. If this group is full and you have not previously been signed off to run in a solo NASA group, please do not register to run in a higher HPDE group - you will not be allowed to run in a solo group. Contact Ryan Martin (R.Martin@nolamotor.com) to be added to the HPDE-1 waitlist. 

HPDE 2: 

HPDE 2 is for drivers that have been signed off to drive on their own. Normal passing rules apply. If we have instructors available, you can request to have an instructor ride with you. Please see this notice before signing up.   HPDE2 Notes.

HPDE 3:

Saturday will slowly work up to additional passing by the end of the day. Sunday will be a continuation, starting with limited passing everywhere in the first session and then very quickly picking up the pace in the subsequent sessions. This should better prepare drivers for HPDE-4. Sunday only entries should be aware of this. At many NASA NOLA events, there will be one planned "drill" during the weekend to help drivers experience certain advanced aspects of track driving and better prepare them for TT or HPDE-4. HPDE 4: 

Only advanced drivers with open passing skills are permitted in HPDE-4. All HPDE-4 drivers who are new to NASA must be pre-approved by the HPDE-4 Group Leader or Chief Instructor before being allowed to drive in HPDE-4.

Time Trials: 

TT is open passing. You must possess a NASA TT license to be in this class. If you need to apply for a license, do it now.

Instructor Information

HPDE instructors... Sign up under Instructor. Instructors can run in TT or HPDE-4.

Racing Information

Pricing

2 day - $340

1 day - $240

Racers must wear a head and neck restraint devices bearing an SFI 38.1 certification.

Racers fire drill will be mandatory once per calendar year starting in 2020. (10 sec drill-driver must be in car engine running in full gear and be able to exit the car within 10 sec) 

Racers please enter early so that we can properly divide the groups.

CANCELLATION/NON ATTENDANCE POLICY

If you wish to cancel your registration, please contact Ryan Martin r.martin@nolamotor.com. Our standard policy is to give you a full credit for a future NASA NOLA event with 48 hour notice, good for one year. (72 hr notice required for HPDE 1.)

If you want a refund, you must cancel via email at least 7 days prior to the start of the event (there will be a $25 fee). If you cancel your registration with less than 7 days notice to start of the event and you want a refund, you will receive a 50% refund. If you are a no show, no refund.
