A significant portion of the track surface is being repaved and/or resurfaced by grinding which will be completed prior to this event. There have already been major improvements made to the drainage adjacent to the track. The track will be much more drivable especially in the wet. In addition, a 1,000 seat permanent grandstand is being constructed in the paddock and a very large spectator viewing berm is under construction on the far side of the track along the esses, making the track much more spectator friendly.
